All leatherwork is carefully handcrafted in my brick & mortar shop/workshop. Quality & Care go into each piece designed & created. All leather is specially treated with mink oil & 'weatherproof' conditioner, for long lasting wear. Properly cared for & conditioned leather can last for many years.
Have you purchased leatherwork from TFL, and want to keep your one of a kind jewelry/goods to look like new?
I offer Free Cleaning & Conditioning (postage paid by buyer) for all leatherwork purchased Online & In-Store from The Feathered Leopard. I want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase for years to come. I'm more that happy to help you maintain the care of your leather goods. Please email me with a photo of the current condition of your leatherwork. Once approved, you may drop your item off at the shop, or ship your item to me (Buyer is responsible for postage both ways.)
What if your cat or dog thought your beautiful leather goods were a treat? (yes, it has happened!)
Again, please email me first, and be sure to include photos, and any details necessary. I will let you know what your options are, as well as any repair/replacement fees, etc. I have been able to repair/reproduce pieces to match before. If I cannot do so, I will do my best to work with you to figure out a plan! Rest Assured!
What type of metal do you use for your jewelry?
TFL uses High Quality 20G Sterling Silver Findings. It's important for earrings to feel comfortable and stable while wearing. I have chosen a solid 'Angular Loop' SS Earwire that works well with both lightweight, as well as large heavier (i.e. 4"+ long leather & turquoise) earrings. Feel free to come by the shop or email me, and have your jewelry cleaned, as part of my 'Free Cleaning & Conditioning" for my buyers.
Please feel free to contact me at TheFeatheredLeopard@gmail.com with any questionse about leather care, repairs etc. I'd be happy to help in anyway I can!
Yes, the culprit was a cute furry friend. This gorgeous turquoise was still intact, and I was able to recreate a matching partner.
Please read the Leatherwork FAQ above for more information.
This very sentimental leather & sterling cuff was given new life after years of being unwearable.
